What is clinical hypnosis
Clinical hypnosis is a combination of hypnosis and a psychological treatment. It involves getting you into a relaxed state where the therapist can communicate with the subconscious part of your mind and make suggestions relevant to your symptoms. Hypnosis in itself is not a form of therapy, rather, it is a powerful method used to deliver suggestions designed to initiate positive change.
Most people would agree that ‘what you focus on you amplify’. Hypnosis is a means of capturing and focussing attention in a very specific and strategic way. At our centre hypnosis is used, with the clients consent, to enhance clinical and coaching outcomes. When appropriately applied hypnosis can support a change in focus and perspective that is aligned with the goals of therapy.
