Dr Aindri Jayasinghe

Aindri specializes in grief and trauma counselling, and works with adult survivors of childhood abuse. She is also experienced in working with depression, anxiety, and other existential issues. She has extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors, predominantly in the United Kingdom and also in Sri Lanka. Aindri views counselling as an important part of an holistic approach to wellbeing. Through her sessions, she offers her clients a safe space to explore whatever feels important or difficult to them, and provides assistance in finding ways to navigate life in the face of devastating events. She works with her clients to understand their current situation and examine ways to open up new possibilities to live more fully and
with greater ease. Aindri aims to always maintain the highest professional and ethical standards. She has trained rigorously in existential phenomenological, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral approaches, yet seeks to avoid any mystification of the work that she does. Instead, she encourages a collaborative and open dialogue, seeking to treat symptoms and address their underlying causes.
