Calm Down:Relaxation & Meditation Skills Training

Learning to ‘actively relax’ is a valuable skill that can assist you to better manage stress and improve your performance and wellbeing. This two week introductory program will introduce you to powerful relaxation skills. Despite the ‘buzz’ about mindfulness and meditation, these practices can seem foreign and inaccessible to the average person. This two week program will clearly explain how meditative practices work to manage anxiety and stress and give you the experience of applying the skill in a supportive and comfortable environment. Active relaxation processes can be applied for managing panic and general anxiety.
This is a skill based program and as such their will be no requirement for personal disclosure.
It might just be the kickstart you need to introduce this positive and powerful habit into your daily routine.
Our ‘Calm Down’ group will be facilitated by Wade Jacklin and Andrea Graham.
The group will run for two consecutive weeks on Wednesday nights at 6:30 for a duration of 1.25hrs.
Total cost is $50.00 per sessions. Medicare or Private Health rebates may apply.
